Learn in person with hands-on guidance, real-time feedback, and personalized instruction from an experienced tattoo artist. Rather than trying to figure everything out on your own, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, practice techniques, and receive individual feedback as you begin building your skills.

Group and private training options are available, with continued mentorship and support after class.

New to tattooing? Beginners are welcome! This course is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of Fine Line Tiny Tattooing through education, hands-on practice, and personalized guidance.

You’ll leave with foundational knowledge, a starter kit, and the resources to continue developing your skills after class. Tattooing takes time, practice, and continued learning to master—this course gives you a structured foundation to build from.

Your growth doesn’t stop after training! Students also have access to continued mentorship and shadowing opportunities as they develop their skills.

What Makes This Training Different? ✨

I created this course from my own experience navigating an industry where quality education and mentorship can be incredibly difficult to access. Traditional apprenticeships can be valuable, but finding the right opportunity isn’t always easy—and unfortunately, many aspiring artists, especially women, have experienced uncomfortable, unprofessional, or unsafe environments while simply trying to learn their craft.

I wanted to create another path: a professional, supportive, judgment-free environment where aspiring artists can receive hands-on education, ask questions freely, and learn without feeling like they have to earn the right to be taught.

This course provides foundational education, personalized instruction, supervised hands-on practice, and continued mentorship from a working tattoo artist.

I also believe in being realistic about what one training can accomplish. Tattooing isn’t mastered in a day. Your training is the beginning of building a skill that requires continued practice, patience, experience, and education.

My goal is to give you a strong foundation and a safe place to begin—and to continue being a resource as you grow. 🤍

What’s Included in Your Training ✨

Join us for a full-day Tiny Tattoo Training from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at our studio in Dublin, Ohio. This immersive course combines foundational education, hands-on practice, supervised experience, and continued support to give you a strong starting point in Fine Line Tiny Tattooing.

Your training includes:

📘 Comprehensive Theory & Safety Education
• Needle types, sizes, equipment & supply guidance
• Licensing, facility requirements & body art regulations
• Proper machine setup and safe handling practices
• Correct depth, pressure & techniques for clean, lasting linework
• Sanitation, bloodborne pathogen awareness & cross-contamination prevention
• Common complications and how to help prevent them
• Client communication, aftercare & professional practices

🎨 Guided Fake Skin Practice – Build familiarity with your machine and begin developing technique before working with a live model.

💉 Supervised Live Model Practice – Apply what you’ve learned on your own model with hands-on guidance and feedback throughout the process.

🎁 Complete Starter Kit – Includes a tattoo machine, needles, inks, supplies, and course workbook so you can continue practicing after training.

💻 Digital Design Support – Guidance using digital design programs and creating appropriate Fine Line Tiny Tattoo designs.

🏆 Certificate of Completion – Recognizing completion of your Tiny Tattoo Training.

🌟 Ongoing Mentorship & Shadowing Opportunities – Your education doesn’t have to end when class does. Continue asking questions, receiving guidance, and learning as your skills develop.

This course provides a foundation—not instant mastery. Becoming a skilled tattoo artist requires continued practice, education, and experience after training.

What are the requirements to take this class?

YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

Body art laws and regulations vary by state, county, and local jurisdiction. For our Ohio training, students are required to have a current Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) certificate and First Aid certification and must bring proof of completion to class.

Completing this course does not replace any licensing, registration, facility approval, apprenticeship, or other requirements that may apply where you plan to practice. Students are responsible for researching and complying with all applicable laws and regulations before offering tattoo services independently.

If you are unsure of the requirements in your area, contact your local health department or other body art regulatory authority before practicing.

Do I have to have an iPad?

No! An iPad and Apple Pencil are not required for training. However, they can be helpful tools for creating and editing tattoo designs digitally.

During training, we’ll discuss digital design options and how they can be incorporated into your workflow. If you already own an iPad, feel free to bring it—but you do not need to purchase one to take the course.

Do I need previous artistic experience?

No previous artistic or tattooing experience is required to take this course. Beginners are welcome!

Having an eye for design or previous drawing experience can be helpful, but it is not required to begin learning. During training, we’ll explore digital design tools that can assist with creating and refining simple Fine Line Tiny Tattoo designs.

Like tattooing itself, developing your artistic eye and design skills takes continued practice and experience.

Do I need to have a cosmetology or aesthetics license?

A cosmetology or aesthetics license is not required to take this course.

Tattoo and body art requirements vary by state and local jurisdiction. Completing this training does not automatically authorize you to offer tattoo services independently.

Before offering tattoo services, students are responsible for meeting all licensing, registration, facility, health department, and other requirements applicable in their area.
